Solution If you currently have a working installation of EyeTV, please send a copy of the com.elgato.eyetv.plist file from your

MacIntosh HD
Library
Preferences
com.elgato.eyetv.plist

This folder is located directly on your hard disc and NOT within your /user/ directory.

Please also include the com.elgato.eyetv.plist from your

MacIntosh HD
Users
Shared
Library
Preferences
com.elgato.eyetv.plist

to either sales@elgato.com (US & Canada) or europesales@elgato.com (all other countries).  Please note that this folder is located directly on your hard disc and NOT within your /user/ directory.

Once we have both files, we will see what we can do to retrieve your key. Please note that this technique will only work with a currently running installation of EyeTV. We cannot extract keys from incomplete installations.

If you do NOT currently have a working installation of EyeTV, I would need valid proof of purchase, i.e. a pdf attachment of a dated invoice from an authorized reseller in order to issue a new key.

Unfortunately, we are unable to recover key information from hardware serial numbers or product registrations.
