Solution All recorded programs can be exported to a QuickTime file for use in other programs. Perform the following steps to save a recorded program as a QuickTime movie:

1) Open the EyeTV Programs window and select the video recording you wish to save by clicking on it once to highlight it

2) Choose Export... from the File menu, or from the Action menu (which looks like a gear).

Under Format, you will have a number of preset options. EyeTV will create the correct files for use with those applications. You can also choose the specific format you prefer.
