Here are some examples of the space requirements for certain lengths of video recorded with the Elgato Video Capture. The length of time will depend on the file format selected in the Elgato Video Capture preferences. If set to Automatic, the EVC software will choose the appropriate export format based on the speed of your Mac. Fast machines will be able to export directly to H.264.
