Finding your Mac via the iPhone

When you first launch the EyeTV iPhone app, the menu will show any EyeTV clients that it has found.

Those clients come from three locations

1) Local Network - A Bonjour symbol with three interlocking loops is used for any Macs running EyeTV on your local network. This is the same list as appears in the Shared section of the EyeTV Programs window. No further configuration is necessary — click on the Mac that you would like to connect.

2) My EyeTV - A monitor symbol is used for Macs found by My EyeTV. They represent an IP address stored in your Elgato account, associated with each Mac that's signed into My EyeTV (via the iPhone section of the EyeTV Preferences).

3) Add EyeTV - A wireless network symbol is used for any Mac that you'd added manually, by typing in a specific IP address.

Click on the name of the Mac you want to use, and you'll automatically log into EyeTV.

Finding your Mac using My EyeTV

To use My EyeTV with your iPhone, you will have to log in.

1) Press the Edit button at the top right corner of the menu.

2) Select "Add EyeTV"

3) Enter your My EyeTV email address and password, then press Save.

4) After a few seconds, My EyeTV will list your Macs that are signed into My EyeTV.

If you want to add your Mac using a specific IP address and port, then follow this process:
