In order to stream live TV over your 3G connection on your iPhone, you must use the Elgato Live3G web app rather than the EyeTV for iPhone native app that is sold in Apple's App Store. The native app will only stream on a wi-fi connection. The Live3G web app is free and is installed on your iPhone or iPod Touch using the following steps.
2. Press Go and once the page has finished loading, tap the + symbol at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the bookmarking option buttons for Safari.
Tap "Add to Home Screen" and you will be presented with a screen for modifying the name that will appear beneath the icon on your iPhone. You will also see a preview of the icon.
3. After choosing the name that will appear, tap on the "Add" button in the upper-right of the screen. Safari will quit and take you back to the page on your Home Screen with the first open space and create the Live3G shortcut or "Web Clip".
