Can I use EyeTV HD to record multichannel digital audio (Dolby, DTS)?
Solution
EyeTV HD
has stereo audio inputs (RCA). It records in stereo, using the
AAC
audio format.
EyeTV HD
doesn't have a digital audio input. It can't capture
Dolby
,
DTS
or other multichannel digital audio formats.
Your cable box or satellite receiver will convert the digital audio content to stereo on the fly, and then give that stereo track to
EyeTV HD
.
