Solution No, EyeTV HD does not need a power adapter.

EyeTV HD is only powered by the USB bus - the same cable that's used to transmit audio and video.

You should use a full powered USB 2.0 port with EyeTV HD - a port on a keyboard or unpowered hub may not be enough.
