Does EyeTV HD have more than one tuner?
Solution No.  EyeTV HD actually doesn't have any tuners - it can't receive video directly from an antenna or cable line.  Instead, it has video inputs - it is a video capture device.

It can receive video from Component, Composite or S-Video sources, and it can only use one such source at a time. You can select what source you'd like to use via the Controls menu in the EyeTV software.  EyeTV will also automatically select the right video source when a scheduled recording begins.

You can watch a previously made recording, while viewing live video.

However, depending on the power of your Mac, having more than one video window open at the same time may reduce performance, and cause playback glitches. This is due in part to the higher CPU demands of H.264 video decoding.
