Yes, EyeTV HD features Composite and S-Video inputs for Standard Definition sources, and Component inputs for HD sources.
If your set top box does not have Component outputs, the EyeTV HD can operate in Standard Definiton mode using standard Composite or S-Video connections. Attach the supplied breakout cable to the EyeTV HD and connect the S-Video or RCA video cable through that and to the cable box or satellite receiver.
