Why do my EyeTV HD colors look wrong via a component connection?
Solution EyeTV HD offers the option to use Component video, which breaks the video signal into three parts.  Those segments are represented by three colors: Red, Green and Blue.

Make sure that the correct colors are matched with the right ports, and that the cables are fully inserted into EyeTV HD.

If you mistakenly swap those colors, so that the wrong cable is going into a certain jack, then the colors of the video image may look incorrect.

For example, if you swap the Red and Blue connections, then people in the video may look blue, and other colors will be wrong.

If any of your Component cables are not fully connected to the proper jack, then that poor connection can lead to similar problems.

If the Green connection is not made, then you will get a No Signal message from EyeTV.   The Green cable is essential to displaying video.
