Solution No. EyeTV Netstream Sat is only for receiving free-to-view DVB-S and DVB-S2 signals, which are not the common standards used in North America. It will not function in North America with DirecTV or Dish Network at all.

EyeTV HD can attach to your DirecTV or Dish Network receiver in North America, to receive SD and HD signals.  EyeTV HD can also automatically tell your satellite receiver to change channels, via an Infrared Channel Changer cable.
