Solution EyeTV Netstream Sat can use a DHCP server to automatically connect to your network.

You will need to ensure that your router has DHCP enabled.

You can also connect the EyeTV Netstream Sat directly to a Mac with the included Ethernet cable or a Crossover Ethernet cable, to create a "link-local" network.
