 Can I use EyeTV Netstream Sat/EyeTV Sat Free simultaneously with Elgato's Pay TV Enabled Satellite Products (EyeTV Sat, EyeTV 310)?
Solution While it is theoretically possible to use both satellite products together, a limitation of the EyeTV 3 software causes the following problem to appear: during a channel change to a pay channel or starting a recording on a pay channel, the device chosen to watch tv or to record from will be chosen at random.  

Consequently, if the device that EyeTV happens to choose is not equipped with the CI slot/CAM module, the desired channel will not be displayed or recorded. Because of these issues, we don't recommend combining Pay-TV equipped satellite products with Free-to-Air Satellite products in your EyeTV setup.

EyeTV Netstream Sat and EyeTV Sat Free are products designed exclusively for viewing and recording free-to-air satellites.
