Tivizen Status Message: This channel is currently not available
Solution
The "This Channel is Not Available" error can happen when
Tivizen's
list of available channels does not match the channels currently being broadcast.
For example, if you Auto Tune for digital TV in one city, and then visit another city, then some channels may not be available. Another example is when your video provider removes a channel from service, either temporarily or permanently.
Please try the following steps to see if they help with this issue:
Scan for channels again
Solution:
Visit the
Settings
section in the
Tivizen
software. Then, select
Channels > Scan Channels
. Confirm your country, and press the
Scan
button to scan for channels. This will let you acquire the correct channel list.
The Tivizen software's multitasking state may need to be reset
Solution:
Quit the
Tivizen
software. Then, clear the
Tivizen
app's saved multitasking state by following these steps:
1) Double-click the
Home
button to load recently used apps.
2) Select the
Tivizen
app by tapping and holding on the app icon until the red minus sign appears
3) Tap the red minus to quit
Tivizen
and clear its saved state. This also removes
Tivizen
from recently used apps.
4) Press the
Home
button to return to recently used apps. Then press the
Home
button again to return to the Home screen.
5) Locate
Tivizen
and open it to see if the issue is resolved.

The Tivizen software may need to be updated
Solution:
Open the App Store to see if there is an update. If there is, install the update, then reopen
Tivizen
.
The Tivizen hardware may need to be reset
Solution:
Unplug the
Tivizen
hardware from the USB cable and power it off. Wait a few seconds, and then power the device back on.
