Formats That Tivizen for iOS Can Play


The Tivizen app for iOS has the ability to play video in MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 standard definition (SDTV) format.

Many DTT (DVB-T, Freeview) channels are broadcast in the MPEG-2 or H.264 formats. 

The use of MPEG-2 or H.264 will vary country by country, so please check with your local broadcasters before purchasing Tivizen.


Formats That Tivizen for iOS Cannot Play


The Tivizen app for iOS cannot play video in high definition (HDTV) format.

If you try to play video in high definition (HDTV) format on your iOS device, directly from the Tivizen hardware , the Tivizen app will not be able to play that video.
Formats That Tivizen Can Play Using EyeTV For The Mac


If you connect your Tivizen hardware directly to your Mac, then EyeTV on your Mac can play MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 video from the Tivizen hardware, along with HDTV video.
