These are the steps to reset Tivizen to factory settings.
Simple Reset
Try this reset first if Tivizen does not charge or cannot be switched off anymore.
1) Press the reset hole with a pin or paper clip and release immediately
2) Wait until the device has booted up again
Factory Reset
1) Plug Tivizen into an USB port or a 5V USB power adapter
2) Switch on the device by pressing the power button for 1 second
3) Wait until the device has booted up and the TV Tuner Status LED and the WiFi Status LED have stopped blinking
4) Press and hold the power button
5) Immediately press the reset hole with a paper clip and release again, while continuing to hold the power button
6) The TV Tuner Status LED blinks very fast for approximately one second
7) When the TV Tuner Status LED starts blinking slower release the power button
8) Wait until the device has booted up again and the TV Tuner Status LED has stopped blinking
After these steps, Tivizen will have returned to its initial settings at the time of purchase.
The initializing process turns all settings back to their
initial states.
