After move to DVB-S2, update EyeTV to receive BBC One HD and BBC HD
Solution
Recently, a few
BBC
channels have changed the way they are broadcasted over satellite.
BBC One HD
and
BBC HD
have changed from
DVB-S
to
DVB-S2
.
Here are some steps you can take to receive those channels.
Update EyeTV and then Auto Tune again
EyeTV 3.5.2
build
6639
is ready for
BBC
customers.
While EyeTV software is running, please open this link using a web browser:
eyetv://checkforupdates?build=6639
That will start the download of
EyeTV 3.5.2
build
6639.
The Satellite XML has been updated for
BBC DVB-S2
.
You will need to
Auto Tune
again to find
BBC HD
and
BBC One HD
.
1) Open the
EyeTV Programs
window.
2) Visit the
Channels
section, and select your
Service
at the bottom of the window.
3) Press the
Auto Tune
button to scan for channels. This will let you acquire the correct channel list.
Manually Add Missing Channels
You can try to re-add these channels.
1) Go to the
Channels
section of the
EyeTV Programs
window.
2) Highlight any channel in the list.
3) At the top, there is the
Action
menu, which looks like a gear/cog/wheel.
4) Select
Manually Add Channel…
from the
Action
menu.
5) Enter these options to find the missing channels:
10847 V 23000 8/9 DVB-S-2 QPSK
The channels should be found, and added to your
Channels
list.
