Elgato iOS app interface for iPad appears incorrectly in iOS 5.1
Solution
Apple released
iOS 5.1
on March 7, 2012.
That update did not work perfectly with
Elgato iOS apps
, when used on an
iPad
.
The
iPad
version of the interface did not include the left hand categories bar. For example, the
Live TV
or
Recordings
options did not appear on the left side of the
iPad
display.
This meant that our
iOS
applications didn't operate as expected, after the update to
iOS 5.1
:
• It wasn't possible to navigate through the apps normally
• It was likely for users to get stuck in a certain section
Our apps needed to be updated to work properly with
iOS 5.1
.
UPDATE: March 19, 2012
All of our
iOS
apps have been updated for use with
iOS 5.1
, and submitted to
Apple
.
