Solution
Yes. EyeConnect is a media streaming server that sends movies, music and picturers to a UPnP receiver connected to your TV. You can still watch movies, listen to iTunes tracks and watch iPhoto pictures, all on your TV regardless of whether you own EyeTV or not. If you do own EyeTV, EyeConnect will stream your EyeTV recordings as well.
