Solution If you start a recording by clicking the Record button on the EyeTV Remote, the default recording time is 3 hours. To change the duration of the recording after you've started it, go to the EyeTV Programs window, select the recording already in progress, then click Show Info and change the stop time as desired.

When using EyeTV 2 or 3, highlight the recording in progress, press the Info button, then Edit Schedule. Enter your preferred ending time.

To change the duration of the recording before you start it, create a New schedule. The start time will be "now", and the ending time is of your choosing. If you want to record 7 hours and 15 minutes, then say so, then press OK. The recording will start immediately.
