Recently, a few EyeTV Hybrid (2009 North America) units have had problems connecting to the EyeTV software. There seems to be two primary causes of this issue:
1) The wrong EyeTV software was shipped with the units
2) The units need to be updated by the EyeTV software

If you need a version of EyeTV 3 that will launch under Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), use this download link:

This download of EyeTV 3 will not work unless you already have a valid activation key for EyeTV 3.
After you download EyeTV 3.3, then you can use the Check for Updates command in the EyeTV menu to get the latest version of EyeTV 3.
