How do I install EyeConnect on my Mac, and my UPnP AV media player on my network?
Solution
EyeConnect is software that you install in your OS X System Preferences. It can be activated from there, and will find any UPnP AV media players on your network. Your UPnP AV media player is a networked device, so you'll need to use an Ethernet cable. You can use a cross-over cable to connect it directly to your Mac, or a standard cable to hook your UPnP AV media player to your network, via a hub, switch, router or 802.11 (AirPort) base station. Many UPnP AV media players have built in 802.11 wireless, so no Ethernet cable will be necessary.
